With my FitBit on, I try for my 10,000 steps a day. Along the way, I noticed, cans embedded in the street. They triggered thoughts of working with the brilliant photographer, Irving Penn, and how his work changed the way I see things: the everyday objects that are often taken for granted, imagining how they age over time and the stories they tell.
